Keep reading if you think 400 pages of fart jokes sounds good. Stop otherwise.

There's a lot more to the book than fart jokes. Like, a lot. At the very least, you have the awesome party scene. And the melancholy ending.

How is Ignatius a tool? Isn't a tool is someone who's being used like an idiot? And there's barely any fart jokes at all. I found Ignatus sympathetic. The ending left some holes but it was... borderline satisfactory. There was something missing.

SAME!

Also in the same vein, Erik the phantom, Severus Snape, Cyrano... I have a fetish for genius types who never quite fit in right with others and are destroyed by love or infatuation. I can care less about the romance aspect, but I like to see its effect on each character.
