Hello lovely people!

Do any of you fine people know of any misanthropy books/literature? Like accept your misanthropy, because misanthropy is good.

Cioran, Celine, Lautreamot, sometimes Miller, Bukowski, maybe Sorokin's "Ice" and many others
but this is not simple "i hate people fuck kill blackmetal barbaria" misanthropy, they're subtle guys

Suskind's 'Perfume' isn't too far off that thesis

It was Kurt Cobain's favourite book for that very reason IIRC

Bear in mind that you're probably just a sensitive young guy just coming to terms with your potential and worried that the real world is going to get in the way of you fulfilling it

Cynicism and misanthropy are the lowest tier of viewpoints. They don't force the holder to come up with any solution, just to be negative about everyone else's. Only in this god-forsaken Progressive society could such a lazy and intellectually bankrupt point of view be held as "hip" or "cool".

it's alot of work to hate everybody, it's probably easier to just assume people are shit and then let them prove they're not
