yes

The origin of the idea of the tulpa in the west came from the book Magic and Mystery in Tibet by Alexandra David-Neel. It's quite an interesting read, especially compared to the white-washed non-superstitious views of Buddhism that seem so prevalent in our modern day. It is, however, quite batshit. Apparently a tulpa is not only created in mind but then takes on physical existence.

Modern tulpa views are also influenced by concepts of egregors and servitors in chaos magic (a postmodern pastiche of western occultism). Maybe Liber Null and Psychonaut would be up your alley too.

Has anyone here ever had a tulpa before?

How long did it take to manifest?

Is it more fulfilling than lucid dreamin?

Go back to/x/ fucktard. Also, please sweep your "religion" (moreover idolatry) off this board and then maybe we can talk about thought forms.
