What do you do with dust jackets?
I can't read with the dust jacket on, so I ususally take it off and place it somewhere where it can't get crushed while I read

I'm pretty sure everyone ever does this.

I know some people throw them away, my mother just keeps them in a box somewhere, let's hear what lit does...

Put a plastic cover over the jacket and tape it to the book like libraries do. Protects the jacket and prevents it from sliding off.

I keep them on, I feel weird without them?

>>4715646

Oh god... what's wrong with me?

Well another thing too is that it might a library book or something you have to keep it on. Another thing too is for decoration, it's like hanging art on your wall or floor if you're me.

I do think those covers are bad ass. I'd love to do a series for Marvel or DC of novels and have them all line up like that to make one big like Avengers montage or something.

Have each one focus on a different character and have that character on the dust jacket and have that line up into a bigger picture for the series.

Don't you feel that they are flimsy and will rip easily if you keep them on?

>> No.4715881

I just throw them away after I've read all the text on them. They make the book feel "impure" to me.

Kind of like having price tags on?

i usually burn them and say a few prayers. they come back after a few days and apologise but they never sit right again. i do this every few weeks but now i'm out of incense. they gather at night and i listen.
