Does /lit/ make alt covers for their ebooks? I do, I'm thinking about making a tumblr or something for them but since I own none of the copyrights I'm worried about getting into legal shit or something.

For a lot of them I don't even remember who made the background images, and crediting isn't particularly convenient when you dump a bunch of shit in bulk. Although, this is all just an off-handed way of saying I'm lazy and I don't wanna.

OP here, I dunno about using a phone, I don't own one, just a computer.
You need to install Calibre, and then put all of the books you want into the Calibre library. Edit each book's metadata individually, and switch their default covers with a cover you prefer that you have on your computer. Finally, convert all of the books into epub format, even if they were already epub. This will recreate the metadata for those files.
If you re-converted epubs into epubs, you will then have an epub and "original epub" file in your Calibre library; Feel free to delete the original, as this is the version without the new cover.
