It seems kinda meh at the moment, with lots of silly situations, and OTT prose. Actually kinda juvenile. But, some of it is well-written, and there have been a few actually funny parts. I'm starting to wonder if this isn't a good book, just an infamous book.

I don't know who recommended it to you, I never read it, just enjoy it for what it is I guess.

Read it as a book, not as an 'infamous' book, and it's actually pretty good.
