I don't know if you're being serious but Tao Lin doesn't make these threads. I don't think he's been on 4chan in a while. The guy got a 50k advance on his last book, I think he's past the whole self-promotion thing. The only time he's notified of his name being mentioned on the internet is through google alerts which was how he found that thread where he met up to get drugs from that guy he mentioned in his novel.
