Hey /lit/
I used to be a huge sci-fi reader in Highschool, but ever since going to Uni I haven't even finished one "free time" novel.

It's been 3 years.

I am in desperate need of a good book and that I can throw myself into.
Pic related is my current fav book its an ominibus from the warhammer 40k series.

So i guess post your fav book or a book you think I should read because it is positively addictive and rendered you unable to put it down until you finished it.

>general good book thread.

It's ridiculous and drags a lot but I'm enjoying it currently.

While in uni I would usually manage to squeeze in some free time novels early in a new term or during summer. very rarely read much during the year.

then I left uni and couldn't read anymore until this year...I mean I read like 12 books a year tops for the past 3 or so years after my first degree...I dunno what happened though, I killed 8 books in January of this year, enjoying the reading even if I was reading something crappy or mediocre (ie Fight Club).

I had to stop and focus on something for a couple of weeks but I'm off reading again.

Sometimes, some things in life just drain away your reading energy such that it becomes difficult to take joy from it for a while.. I'd say don't fret over it too much.
