Are Tao Lin's books worth reading?

Dude

1. Start reading one
2. Decide if you want to continue

If that doesn't answer your question you should've been more specific

If you are a member of High Culture, classically educated, then you will without a doubt despise his work. If you come from middle class suburbia, you were publicly educated, at some point moved to the "Big City", became a drug addict, could be described as a casual reader, and, as a product of your social ineptness, feel alienated, anxious and depressed, then, and only then, will you enjoy his work. If style or quality are of any importance to you, if you dislike lazy writers who pretend to be minimalists, if on the whole you prefer pre-war writers, then you won't like Tao one bit.

There's a nice download pack to three of his books called "Best of Jackie Chan" floating around.

I can see why he writes the way he does, but I don't like reading it. It's boring in a mostly non-interest way.
