Is their like a baby's First Book list with easy reads like Harry potter and The Hunger games and stuff?

I want to read more but I'm kind of too retarded

I looked at the wiki btw

Go back on the wiki and look at the books in the genre section. Genre fiction is generally easy to read so just pick whichever books on there seem interesting to you.

Lord of the Rings or A Song of Ice and Fire would be good places to start.

Books geared towards a younger age group aren't necessarily going to be easier or more enjoyable. Often, it just means they're dumbed down, simplistic and pandering. Not even trying to dump on it, I like a good few YA books. But I read a lot of shitty ones for a long time simply because I assumed adult books would generally just be harder and more boring, but boy was I wrong.
Like the other anon said, check out genre fiction.

It's about your preference. If you try force-reading some list, you will end up disgusted. You still need to pick up what you like.

As >>4550218 said, The Hobbit and LotR are a good start for anyone.

Then you must try to find out what you actually enjoy. Some enjoy the epic visions, some read for the refined language, most of /lit/ reads because some books are marked as superior and reading them makes them feel superior.

Why do you want to read?

Easy reads.

Harry Potter
The Hobbit
Alice in wonderland and through the looking glass
Do Androids dream of electronic sheep
Farenheit 451
A clockwork orange ( but it does have slang which might be annoying )
Metro 2033
Dracula is a pretty easy read.

Most boards here are elitist, just let them be.
