since i read the book 'neuropath' he wrote and it was the shittiest thing i've ever read i doubt i will be reading this

The first one was great. Kellhus was so mysterious and appeared so little that I couldn't stop reading. Its lore and factions were specially interesting too. The philosophical elements were a delight, specially since any fantasy book that tries to incorporate such elements fail terribly.

Then I read the second one, which wasn't so good. I began to realize some characters with their own PoVs were very half assed.

Then the third one, which was pretty weak. I didn't understand where the whole plot was going.

I've yet to read the 2nd trilogy (The Aspect Emperor), I might wait for the 3rd book of that one to be published before starting it.
