Are you talking of Tolstoy?He probably achieved more than the enormous majority of human beings have ever achieved. In literature I can think only on Shakespeare as his superior (and only because he has more variety, because both he and Tolstoy are absolute kings in their respective stiles, and both have virtues that were not possessed by the other).
