So I decided to pick up Crime and Punishment because I really liked The Brothers Karamazov and it was also by Dostoevsky. What am I in for? Is it good? No spoilers, please.

Also, Russian novelist appreciation thread.

CP reads a bit differently than TBK, but if you enjoyed his style I'm sure you'll appreciate it. CP feels very much like a psychological thriller to me. You might see elements from TBK popping up here and there. This isn't a spoiler, they're both novels that examine how we deal with criminal acts, however the case and motivation in CP is much different from that in TBK, so it should be fun to compare how Dostoevsky treats the psychology of characters on trial.

Anyone here read any Andrei Platonov? Just started Happy Moscow and am liking it a lot.
