I'm writing a short fiction piece about a man who wakes up and finds himself floating above his city in only his underwear.

This isn't homework or anything - just a fun little piece I've been invited to write for a school publication.

Any ideas? We're working with a blank canvas here! It's supposed to be comedic - witty/snarky. I need it done by tomorrow and I haven't come up with much anything yet, thought I'd prod you guys here. Thanks!

Douglas Adams did something like this in So Long and Thanks for All the Fish

Umm... maybe you can draw inspiration from the dream sequence in The Big Lebowski?

The man is actually Superman's son. Superman accidentally shoot his load through an open window, causing it to fly all the way to Europe and impregnate a woman. The flying bodily fluids also showed up on the USSR's radar and almost caused WW3.

Plot twist:
The man's name is: Chuck Norris

>Hey guys I've got an idea for a story!
>Except by that I mean I have one overarching concept, and none of the smaller ideas about how to execute that concept that makes a story any good!
>Please provide me with those smaller ideas!

Go away. Also, your assertion that this isn't homework is debatable.
