what are /lit/s all-time favorite audiobooks?

I've got a 16 hour car ride coming up at the end of the semester, looking for something good for my friend and I (lib arts college kids).

I've done a lot of nonfiction before like Bryson's Short History of Nearly Everything, looking for a good story this time around.

I'd recommend you to convert some of the Yale classes available on youtube to mp3 and listen to them as you travel.

Borrowed Time: An AIDS Memoir" by Paul Monette is great

I'd be willing to record audiobooks and upload them.

I read out loud for audiences a lot so have practice.

I can read a fairy tale right now and upload it. If it transfixes you I'll record a novel of your choice (or perhaps one of my choice if you have no preference) for your journey.

I'll charge nothing. I need a project to occupy me tonight so I don't kill myself.

yeah, I'm still looking for literature not some classes. I've already got plenty of those right now.
