It is my favirote. I don't think it's the greatest literature ever written and it doesn't have a whole lot of serious sentimental value to me but it's funny and personal.

Get at me e/lit/es, I know that sounds like a terrible book club review but I can't think of a less corny way to say it. Holden's a really believable character to the point where it feels like you know him and care about him.

And it's all just an elaborate way to feel bad for yourself and good about yourself at the same time, and that's fun
