Got rejected from every teach-English-abroad program I applied to and now I have to go into the real world with a degree in Literature.

What should I do? I will never give up!

Some of them I know judge on looks. They make you send a picture of yourself in the application.

Hey op did you just try the ones that where just in Japan?

>> No.434759

Try not using dashes in a perfectly good phrase, and you'll impress them with your English skills.

Seriously. "Teach English abroad" should also have had quotation marks, as it's stated in this context like a slogan.

Which ones?

You got it. It was a truly stupid decision on my part. Where would you suggest I look next?

>> No.434812

You Americans shouldn't be teaching English anyway.

If you're American. :P

Yes, I am an Americunt. I admit that I find the cultural imperialism behind these seemingly benign "cultural exchange" programs to be disturbing, I'm a poorfag and this will probably be the only chance I will ever have to leave the country. :[

Oh, so you took the weeaboo route instead of the sensible one.

Try China. With a population ten times that of Japan, your chances are far better.

AEON Is great because you can teach adults. Most of your clients will be small groups or one on one sessions with board house wives. Try that. But I do warn you if you get pass the application process they will call you for an interview. You will have get your butt to Los Angles on your dollar.
