Hey Lit I just took 3 years off my work and I've been spending my time reading 10~15 hours a day
I have been reading a lot of horror/creepy books that people were saying 'shocking' or 'scary', but I couldn't get myself to feel anything reading those books
Does anyone here have some suggestions?
I want to prove myself wrong of my preconceived notion that books can't be scary

Should I try the novel shining?
How different is it from the movie?

Oh its just a planned duration
In actuality It'll be like 2 years
My country has a mandatory 2 years of military service but I just got a foreign citizenship so I decided to do what I've always wanted
The trip itself is pretty cheap, I have money saved up :3

I basically have to go to the military for 2 years before I turn 28 but I don't have to
so I decided to just take a trip around the world through a boat which was surprisingly cheaper than I thought

yes I was really surprised Twain could write something so edgy (in a good sense)...
