Because that's the only way a person can be interesting.

I think we have a misunderstanding, I must be communicating poorly.

I want friends who I can actually banter with and who can actually reason their points and influence my method of thinking. Currently, with the circle of friends I'm around, I can propose a philosophy like "democracy is bad", and the only response is some elementary truism that they learned from high school, or if I'm lucky maybe they'll reference Animal Farm.

I mean, maybe they're stupid, maybe they're not, but in any case they don't devote time to philosophy, so I fundamentally don't share the same interests. Drinking and talking about what insignificant people did is boring.

Not really, i only got it because my old phone broke down.

I just dont really have friends and slowly stopped replying to texts because i didnt want to go out clubbing and all that with my old buddies.

Ever since then whenever i did see them (last time was like 3 years ago) I always just felt out of the loop with all of em. Guess we just all drifted a part and i forgot what it was like to have friends

My phone is mainly just used as an internet-everywhere device.

Nowadays the only people I like talking to is my sister, her bf, my brother and his wife and one of my cousins.

But when i think about it i realised how loserish that must seem then i go into tfw-mode

My cousin tried to include my in his friendship group but it feels just like pity invites and when they found out i dont have friends i just kind of feel like a loser around them so i stopped answer their calls and declining invites

It's like we don't need to or want to, like we're too old for that, and those topics are important for every single one of us, but it's better that we don't talk about them. Fuck ideas and philosophies, they don't matter. What matters is finding people with whom you feel at east, who can soothe you.
