what is the relation between choice and belief? can one ever choose what they believe? and, if not, does this mean: determinism ?

In my opinion any choice or belief we feel is an illusion, and we aren't actually creating energy in the universe, which is what free will must imply.

we can never know for sure but because we innately perceive an underlying, causal will behind our actions it at least suggests that there could be free will. i'm pretty sure thats what Kant thought.
