General dialogue thread.

Minnie turned to me as she unfastened her seat belt and threatened in a low, wavering voice, “Better not cross me again, dike.”
I countered, “Better not cross me, slut.” We rolled our eyes and split from opposite sides of the car.

Is this language thirteen year old girls would use?

How about asking a 13yo girl rather than 27yo NEETs on 4chan ?

"DIKE", AND "SLUT" DO NOT SEEM LIKE WORDS THAT A CURRENT THIRTEEN YEAR OLD GIRL WOULD SAY.

"BITCH", AND "SKANK" SEEM MORE PLAUSIBLE.

"So, what you'd do, right, is negotiate for the position of Avatar, put yourself forward as the sole representative on Ear- I mean, your world, of course, to do with as you wish in the name of the Unspeakable. You get demigodlike powers and you subjugate the whole world, have everyone bowing to temples carved from blood-stained marble, shaped like a giant goatse."

I really had to stop comimg in to the living room when she was talking to her friends on the 'phone. I always caught the end of the conversations and they never sounded good.

"Yeah, it is, kinda. You have to put the blood stains on before you put them up, otherwise it all just runs off. Anyway, I have a pigeon to - yes, and let me know how it goes, hey? Git some."

I looked at her. She looked right back. "Given what he has to go through in order to get his tentacles into the holes on the rotary-dial 'phone, I feel it only polite to devote a certain degree of attention to his calls."

I gave her a sour look. "What, he doesn't have minions?"

She gave me an expression that said Hello? You're being an idiot?, shrugged exaggeratedly and said, as if to a child, "They all have tentacles," and wiggled her fingers to illustrate.

"Don't they have telepathy, or something like that?"

"The problem with telepathy is that any sensitive can pick it up. You may as well be shouting through a megaphone."

I thought for a moment; not so much with a view to continuing the conversation but rather towards grabbing the steering wheel and driving us into a concrete abutment. I leered and said "Tentacles, eh?"

She gave me a tired look. "Oh, don't you start."

Is "xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD" something a 13 year old would say?

>> No.4226658

"I disagree, if you reheat the flux capacitor and add 3 degrees to the boiler we'd increase the purity"

The mad scientist speaking was none other than Jewy Shekelstein.

"Nnhhrr ugrunn nnuuhnngnnn nggnnggn"

"Excellent idea, Jamal! You are quite normal for a Kaffir"

"MMM! MMM!" shouted the negroid while pointing at the glassware.

"Oh yes, it's time to begin titration."

"Mmmmm."

Have you EVER heard someone say this? Why would you think a 13 year old would?

Redefine less words and make the narrator less passive

that would be..... NEET. HA HA HA

which words do you feel i have redefined?

also, the passivity of the narrator is part of the text. i am not going to post all of it.

Avatar, Unspeakable, sensitive. I understand sensitive because it seems to be jargon, but I'm not sure if the passive character would stick to the 'official' words for things. When I said too passive, I meant the discrepancy in using the official words and the voice if that makes any sense.

"sensitive" is jargon? just because i use a word in a manner that isn't familiar to you doesn't make it "jargon".

Sensitive, Noun (plural sensitives): One with a paranormal sensitivity to something that most cannot perceive. - wiki
