What is your experience with audible?
I got one free book on their offer: a 24 hour book is three 8-hour audiofiles.
Pluged them into Aimersoft drm converter to convert them into normal MP3s - seems like it'll take several hours, and then i'll have to split them into segments in audacity.
On one side it isn't too much work for ~24 hours of listening, on the other hand- if I'll start buying my audiobooks there or upgrade to annual sub - this could get annoying fast.
Are books always so badly cut there?
Are there other audibook shops with good selection?

You can download drm-free versions of the audiobooks right from audible, no need to download the drm versions and convert. I think it's file type 3 that's just a normal drm-free mp3. I download all of my audible books like than and put them on my android phone so i can listen to them without running the audible android app.
