Dear /lit/

I have a difficult time imagining detailed stuff while I'm reading, what does this mean?

it means youre a nerd

not everyone does, you might just have a more emotional or aesthetic connection to the text rather than a visual one, it's not something to worry about.

My imagination was pretty blurry and vague when I first started reading as well. Imagination is in many ways a skill you have to develop.

I only have trouble imagining how characters look
I just give them the look I want to give them rather than what the story says
