Is The Rebel worth reading?

I was severely disappointed with The Myth of Sisyphus, much of it appeared to me as incoherent babble attempting to appear intellectual.

I think Camus makes more sense in French, the translations come across as overly latinized (which sounds pretentious) when they're translated to english.

I've read both one after the other this summer, and I liked the Rebel more. But it was the french original
