I think pet ownership is disgusting and egotistical and don't like the idea of breeding creatures for entertainment value.

Inb4 adopting strays or other second hand cats, the second hand cat business is the pressure valve of an immoral industry.

All evidence suggest that cats originally came to us willingly in prehistory. In fact, they've developed clever ways to prey on our sympathies and gullibility. The way a cat communicates with a human for example is different than he does with other cats, yet when hooked up to a computer their brain visualize cat like features in our faces rather than human ones.

Voluntary symbiotic relationships like that are great, but that's something different from breeding them on a large scale, spoiling them and letting them run amok fucking with the bird population with their half-arsed instincts and generally being a nuisance to everyone but their owners.

I can understand a farmer who has a few cats in his barn and throws them some food once in a while because they keep the mice out, but that doesn't legitimise the position of the cat as it is today as far as I'm concerned. I think they're beautiful creatures, but they are essentially a cute plague kept for our entertainment.

Some allergies are dead serious (really, to die from), but others not so much. I think people should risk themselves more on those. When I was a kid I loved cats, but 5 minutes with them would leave me with red eyes for the rest of the day. I stood up and faced cats like a brave little man I was.

I want a widdle kitty so bad, but I live in an apartment and don't want to pay a pet deposit.
There are a shitton of stray kitties at my complex though, and there was this yellow tabby that was real friendly unlike all the other skiddish ones, but some motherfucker claimed him and he hangs out at their place more than mine.

I want a black kitty named Niggerman. In honor of LC.
