There's this book I'm thinking of, but I can't remember the name of it for the life of me, so I figured I'd ask you guys.
It's about this little Asian girl who plays chess all the time and becomes a champion. It's not like a super famous book, but it's pretty well known.
She thought of the whole world like a chess game.
I can't remember the rest, and I can't remember the name. Does anyone know it?

The mom was strict, and she didn't really approve of the whole chess thing.
Oh, and they got the chess board from a church donation at Christmas time, I think? I don't remember, it's been a while. It's written in first person, like an autobiography, but it is fiction.
