Booktrip thread.

I started reading again after getting over the hate I had for learning that the public school system put in my brain as a child. I want to read a book that takes me somewhere. One that makes me think in abstract ways with grandios settings and events that stretch the fabric of those settings. Give me a book made of blotter paper, /lit/.
