Hey, /lit/, could you let me know which book(s) I should read in order to educate myself in Sartre's philosophy?

I'm planning on perhaps doing an extensive study on him in a uni paper.

Sartre.

What interests you in his philosophy?

Existentialism is a Humanism is usually used as an intro to his thought, though it isn't ideal. It's short as hell though, so you might as well blaze through it.

personally I think his philosophy isn't very strong

Most of /lit/ shits of Sartre because they've only heard of him via Bryan Magee's philosophy podcast.

Well maybe. But /lit/ also only knows about anything through wiki articles I'm pretty sure.

I've studied him in existentialism classes though, and he still isn't a great philosopher.

He cropped up in a couple of conversations I've had, and as the persons in the discussions spoke highly of him I thought I'd investigate. And it came up just in time when I was searching for something to do my paper on.

I'll take a look at Existentialism is a Humanism. Thanks.
