Anathem and Reamde seemed to go on forever, Battlefield Earth, Gravitys Rainbow, Musashi and LotR though books made up other several books. Plus others i guess, I am currently reading The German Genius: Europe's Third Renaissance, the Second Scientific Revolution and the Twentieth Century by Peter Watson which weighs in at 850 pages plus.
