ITT: good audiobooks

I generally find that I can only stand those read by the author but I'd be happy to be proven wrong.

This was great, more enjoyable than the written text.

Agreed. Listened to the audiobook first, and it changed my life. He and Lalla record all his audiobooks in the same way; really enjoyable.

Will try someday, I loved the printed version. It was the book that made agnostic atheist, It exposed me to many concepts that I never saw at the biology class of my Salesian HS.

The Almanacs of Complete World Knowledge by John Hodgman have terrific audiobooks (that's the series title, the books are actually named "The Areas of My Expertise", "More Information than You Require", and "That is All"). Definitely check them out if you like somewhat absurdist humor.
