So is there any good post-modern/deconstructionist literature you would recommend. I recently watched a video explaining how a game with what some might say a convoluted plot was a deconstruction of the hype surrounding it's release and the genre itself.

It made perfect logical sense and my mind was blown, obviously vidya is pleb shit so what books can you recommend to get me into post-modernism/deconstructionism or what ever it's called.

The postmodern founders' patricidal work was great, but patricide produces orphans, and no amount of revelry can make up for the fact that writers my age have been literary orphans throughout our formative years. We're kind of wishing some parents would come back. And of course we're uneasy about the fact that we wish they'd come back--I mean, what's wrong with us? Are we total pussies? Is there something about authority and limits we actually need? And then the uneasiest feeling of all, as we start gradually to realize that parents in fact aren't ever coming back--which means we're going to have to be the parents.

Oh, I misread your original post and thought you wanted another film explaining something. It's not a book, it's a documentary. Of his books I've only read the fright of real tears, which is pretty cool.
