If you could only have one, books or alcohol, which one would you choose, /lit/?

Alcohol, of course.

No good book was written without it.

OP is basically asking 'are you a nihilist or not?'. So of course I'm not a nihilist and of course I would choose books over alcohol. Anyone who identifies themselves as a nihilist might as well just kill themselves. Seriously. Either that or switch up their life philosophy to something else. Nihilists that haven't killed themselves yet still have but a glimmer of hope for something better, yet it remains un-examined. Until they either commit suicide or find this secret, they are living a lie.

Alcohol does not kill brain cells you dolt. It's a myth spread by the temperance movement and disproven by research and modern science. I am tired of pointing this out.

Maybe you wouldn't get so mentally exhausted if you still had all your brain cells?
