Australia.

2nd hand book stores

2nd hand ones come in Green, Orange and Blue (Pelican academic).

Then in the 1970s they turn black.

The Green ones have line engraving plates of 2" square max.

I see a few in Canada but mostly what I see are the black and white Classics and the white Modern Classics. Other than that penguin seems to publish editions like other publishers; designing a unique cover for each book or perhaps author that changes over the years. I think pingu has started to bring back the classic looking ones to appeal to the vintage/hipster aesthetic. tbh I wish they would bring back the greenish modern classics from 70s/80s

Can you buy orange penguins in America? I thought they only came in black and white but those orange ones are sexy. How much would it cost to have an orange penguin shipped from Australia? You Austrians are so lucky.

In a bookshop, faggot. I was in Waterstones the other day and there were a bunch of those 1984 books sitting on the counter. Jesus Christ, get off your fat ass and go outside for once.

I went to the bookstore today and did not see those penguin covers. I'm in America, maybe that's why. Are the orange covers only available in Australia?

>> No.3992876

Orange covers are available in Croatia as well.
I don't know why would anybody want them, the book's title and the name of the author is just engraved in that little black part and it's actually quite hard to spot.
