Do you think this is a good movie about writers and writing?

You're the man now, dog.

The problem I had with it was that he was (Tongue-in-cheek) playing as J.D. Salinger... but he looked like hemingway.

Love the movie and I think it's a great way of looking at literature and writers. But it is only A way of many of looking at it.

didn't have enough to do with literature. kinda cringey imo

Finding Forrester is a little too cheesy. want a good movie about the creative process? ADAPTATION.

>> No.3984613

It's pretty good. The soundtrack is cool. You don't hear Bill Frisell and 70's Miles too often in Hollywood shit.

A good movie about writers and writing? Not really. As the other guy said, Adaptation is probably the best

People here like "Midnight in Paris". This is the worst place, probably on the entire internet, to discuss film--except maybe /tv/, and that's a big maybe.

Barton Fink would be a better choice.

Midnight Paris is not about writing, its about nostalgia. it just happens to have writers in it.

Stranger than Fiction was enjoyable for me.

I think you're distracting from a main issue...

Midnight in Paris sucked balls. Prove me wrong...

Enjoyable, feel good bullshit. There aren't any black geniuses coming out of the ghetto.

There was a thread about a week ago in which everybody thought Midnight in Paris was shit. You would have liked it.
