I adore the Babysitters club series and have read every book twice. The second read through was this year. My kid sister has the entire collection, and I sneak into her room and smuggle the books out.

I'm not sure really. Being honest, there probably is a small amount of depraved sexual issues behind it, but it's mainly yearning for a childhood that wasn't like mine. The prose is obviously simple and each books has the same plot structure, but I get such a warm comforting feeling from reading them. I read the famous five books too.
