/lit/, how would you describe how the girl is moving at 1:22 in this video?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cm5CboTXr90

Forgive me please for the video, I saw a girl at central parking skipping/hopping/bobbing like this and its uncanny how close the two are in how they are moving.

Skipping and hopping seem too quick and active to describe this, not relaxed enough, bobbing just feels too vague and doesnt capture this movement.

ho ho, prancing, thats pretty good. Prancing however sounds like a put down, the way I want to describe this girl is very upbeat.

The main character Travis is having somewhat of a fit walking down the street because he just got into an argument with his older brother, and this girl who he knows comes up from behind him. I want to describe her as the girl is moving, and moving at a quicker pace than he is to catch up to him. Just before this though I had a break where the narrator tells the reader directly something to explain his fit, and the first sentence of where I go back to the main character is going to be describing this girl walking up to him.

For now what I have is

A young girl wearing a pink summer dress with a grey hoody over this was catching up to Travis with a spring in her step, and as she got closer she was more bouncing than walking.
