yeah I like it when stores do this too. One amazon seller I bought books from included a bookmark with useful information on it in each package. Normally I use bicycle cards. They're durable and look nice.

I feel your pain. what you do is stick the postit to your forehead before you put it in the book. the grease from your head will reduce the stickiness enough that it will still stick but won't rip onion paper.
