so /lit/, I just finished reading Stephen King's The Dark Tower series
what is your opinion of it?

I loved it, but I'm also a pleb - the only authors I've read outside of a classroom are this, Ian Fleming, and William Gibson. The only part I felt let down by, was how there was such a huge build up to the Mordred confrontation - and then it was just 'he kills a dog, gets shot and dies.' It felt like there should have been a scene where Roland feels something there, at least more than 'his body burned in the fire and it smelled bad.' But overall I thought it was great, 10/10, would read again.
