does anyone know why the penguin edition of kant's 'critique of pure reason' is about twice as long as the j. m. d. meiklejohn translation? is meiklejohn's abridged? i plan on reading it, but i want a thorough torture, none of this "gist of it" crap...

If you're trying to get cheap books, buy them used or take them out from the library. Used books you buy online are literally 1 penny each depending on where you look and they're almost new. You're just an idiot.
