It is true though, I've always thought before that there were only two Bronte sisters, because I've only known Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre. Emily and Charlotte knew their market and their classic works were (in)famous for their time. Anne didn't know her market. Just ask anyone about Bronte, they will either mention Charlotte and Emily first. Anne is the other sister, she's like Edith Crawley of the crawley sisters, she never gets enough attention because she doesn't know what the fuck she's supposed to do with what she can.

Brontë works, ranked:

Wuthering Heights>The Tenant of Wildfell Hall>Jane Eyre>The Professor>Villette>Shirley>Agnes Grey

It's a shame Anne is so generally overlooked; Tenant is really a great novel. Also, it's a shame Charlotte lived the longest, because that's the only thing which made her the most popular, despite being the most boring by far.
