What are the most emotionally powerful short stories you've ever read, /lit/? I read Patriotism by Yukio Mishima and I just can't get enough.

Three stories written by one member of our community. Each one strikes a chord and showcases an amazing talent. The funny thing is, its that this guy is offering these as exclusives to the /lit/ community and the quality level. I do not think I have ever read a short story that captured my attention quite like this man's stories do. Here's to hoping he showcases more of his talent soon.

I DID NOT CRY, I JUST SHED THREE TEARS.

read Carver's Why Don't You Dance? earlier today, was quite surprised by the last paragraph and how well it suggests the Man's situation (if I'm right that his relationship fell apart)

Araby, For Esme is real good too. Tolstoy's Lucerne is a good one I read recently.
