Too busy sucking on a ding-dong
She's busy sucking on my ding-dong
Oh she does just like Sister Ray said
I'm searching for my mainline
I said c-c-c-couldn't hit it sideways
I said c-c-c-c-c-c-couldn't hit it sideways
Ah do it do it just su-su-su-suck

>> No.3559832

No.

Music is a good medium for music. If you have a philosophic thought you need to communicate, then use words.

no that's for philosophical texts

Check your privilege

>> No.3559856

Music is always communicating philosophic thoughts and values.

Your question is ambiguous, though. I think a lot of people are interpreting it as you asking if it's good for communicating philosophic arguments, which it obviously isn't.

Recommended.

Extremely good lyrics with offset rhythm barely held by a thread.

Great for night walks.

Lyrical themes seem to give a spiritual existentialist feel.

the only authentic medium for presenting philosophical ideas is performative bukkake

arguably some of the earliest forms of the Reformation were in polyphonic church music, I think, if that counts

>> No.3559954

Not really philosophic thought.
Not really thought in general, actually; have you ever listened to a song and appraised it the same way you've appraised a philosophy paper?

I don't think so. It's more of a conduit for emotional and abstract expression. Not that philosophy can't be, it's just that philosophy handles its expression with more focused, narrowed rigor. It's a matter of deciding where your artistic ideas end and where philosophy begins.
