Can you be more specific?

I have read nothing by him, but apparently, whereas Descarates says the body and spirit are separate, whereas (I have been lead to believe) Spinoza says it is one in the same. I find that fascinating.

What a shitty thread.

Yeah I read the Ethics a while back. Hop on into it OP. His whole monism thing makes sense: mind and body are two different words for the same thing and thus inseparable. His treatment of God is baller as fuck and I thought his section on the passions was fascinating.

No problem homie. Also, to call Spinoza a pantheist is a bit of an exaggeration but you can read his book and decide for yourself.

It's up to you if you want to give it a divine connotation.

Are you a glass half empty guy or a glass half full?

A glass with water in it and a human trying to figure out if it is half full or half empty.

you are at the experimentation stage of forming a hypothesis.

Keep at it, yo.
