What book should I buy next?


I'll give pictures of the books I have most recently finished, alongside books I thoroughly enjoyed reading. Currently I am reading Lord of the Rings for the first time. Starting Return of the King a little later tonight and will probably have it finished in a few days.

Any suggestions would be great.

Lolita is the most recent book I have finished. I thought it was a fantastic story. Very humorous yet terribly sad. Understanding the mind of a manipulative pedophile was quite a neat learning experience.

Before Lolita I was reading various stories by H.P. Lovecraft. I have his ultimate collection and plan on delving into that soon.

I think it goes without saying how fantastic this novel is. Read it last year for the first time. I ended up with someone's copy although I have no idea who. I take it as a sign I was meant to keep it.

haha yeah, most pictures I have seen of him he definitely looks like something is going wrong.

a friend of mine gave me her palahniuk books, and another friend let me borrow this one. I read it in one sitting because it was so short. It was pretty good, not as good as Fight Club.

i read invisible monsters right before snuff. it was just okay, forgettable.
