Hey /lit/, I'm going through an identity crisis right now.
Have any suggestions for books about finding oneself, any type of self-improvement for the already confident person trying to become more humble?

Who says humility is necesarily self-improvement?

If you mean humbled by knowledge then that's eaasy you shmuck!

Try the existentialistss (Sartre, Camus et al.), avoid Nietzsche until you're mature enough to realize he wasn't an edgy sociopath.

Anyone have any suggestions for someone who is too shy to talk to strangers?

yes, anything by fernando pessoa. maybe exposure to such a whiny faggot of a writer will wake you up. sensitivity is letting other people's thoughts dictate your behavior. its worse than slavery.

I know, I didn't always be this way. I was actually pretty popular in high school because I understood the dynamics of the groups but now in uni I can't seem to muster up the courage to start a conversation..

This.

Also, I made a similar thread a few months ago.
Basically what >>3476465 and >>3476509 said. It wouldn't improve much though. It will just toss some ideas in and at least you won't feel alone.
So just write down a summary of your life and then describe your daily life and your daily impressions, even if it doesn't make any sense.

To kill a mocking bird. I'm sure you find a way to be more humble.
