Whenever we try to point out why it sucks (trying far too hard to be obscene & "edgy") you just say that we don't like it because we're afraid of how "groundbreaking" it is. It isn't groundbreaking, it's pointless. A lot of us have read more shocking fiction than this in a published format (see American Psycho), and this doesn't shock at all. It just comes off as being the tryhard effort of a teen to seem like he's so dreadfully original.

Here's the thing - this sort of shock via obscenity has been done before and done very hard. It's been done to death, it doesn't work any more. Find different ways to shock, and maybe people will care. People are shocked by original thought expressed intelligently, not meaningless dribble trying its best to be original.
