Tartt general. I know she doesn't have an "oeuvre" so much as "2 books," but still -I loved The Secret History. Liked the first page of The Little Friend, but then I just picked that up in a store once, haven't gotten the chance to property read it.

Do you read?

I don't know why, but I can't take Richard seriously. He just seems like so obviously like a male character written by a female author.

Yes and I was wondering what would warrant a Donna Tartt thread. Nothing much apparently.

What?
She's not Justine Frischmann...

Well, it's been a while since her last novel so naturally there's going to be some fervor. My Bloody Valentine just released their first album in twenty years and people are acting like it's the second coming. It kind of is.

I didn't know who that was but I just google'd her, there's a similarity. I believe it was a joke.
