Can we have a writing thread? Just help each other out with writing questions?
Can I saw 'derive knowledge'? For example:

"For the idealist, logic is what unifies ideas, therefore logic is the leading process by which we derive knowledge."
You at least know what I'm trying to say, I'm just not sure how to say it. (explaining epistemology for the idealist)

A fine wording. Your terms introduce other questions: what are the other processes from which knowledge is derived for the idealist? Where is knowledge derived from?

try it with a phrase like this one: "Logic. the sweetest fruit from the tree of knowledge."

>> No.3431295

Or try it like this "Apples. The best fruit to come from trees, logicians believe."

Oh I'm sure. But I'm just summarizing and am being as compact with my writing as I can.

'nowadays' is one word, no matter what variation of English you are speaking.

If logic is the unifying feature of the idealist's view, then they derive knowledge through logic.

Thanks guys. The poetry is nice but doesn't really have a place in this essay.

"The 'Fuck Apples, Pears Are The Shit' splinter movement which has appeared recently among many modern logicians has had a large effect on the landscape of modern logic and philosophy."
