In your opinion, what is the best Discworld book?

I'm not sure about "best" but Going Postal is probably my favorite

I just realized how busy Pratchett must have been writing all those books. That is quite large oeuvre.

I thought Going Postal was great, but it was also mainly a return to form. The best stuff is in books 1-15(ish), i.e., before Pratchet started filling his books with a lot of obnoxious moralizing and a more overt political agenda.

For my money, the best is either Wyrd Sisters or Guards! Guards! (even though the other Watch novels are just average, this one is truly excellent.

The Light Fantastic.

I love me some Rincewind.
