How many books can /lit/ read at a time?

>> No.3371867

4. Left eye, right eye, and in Braille, left hand and right hand. If you count listening to audio books, six.

1 at a time. It's nicer that way because it ferments in your subconscious when you're not reading it. That's just me though. Albeit, I am a great man.

>> No.3371865

Only one. Often I read a few chapters from one book, then read from another.

>> No.3371889

Right now im reading about 70, ocd

Well if I'm reading a dense book, I'll usually have something on the side that really easy to just pick up and read when there is little time. I find that I am able to concentrate on the denser book better this way.

What about you OP?

>> No.3371919

I cycle every day between 10~ categories, each one having an appropriate book in it. Three are language categories, so just translating simple books usually, and one is my mandatory weekly school readings, so it necessarily has like 40 books in it, with each rotation of the cycle knocking another course's assigned readings off.

If I do it regularly enough and with good organization, I end up much more productive, because I never get bored. It's a lot harder to read 10+ hours a day when you're reading one or two things, because your mind just conks out past a certain point, and you start to slow down exponentially.

Post a picture of what this would look like.

That is, unless you're a bitch.

One.

Sometimes I read the first few pages of a book and decide I will read it later, then read another book first.

But I always only read one book at a time, not counting short story collections of course.

Actually I am lying, thinking about it, I have around 3 books that I have started and read a good portion of before stopping, and now I am reading another book.

I still only think of it as reading 1 book at a time though, because I stop reading the others and don't actively read several books in the same short time period.

Needs an additional braille reading of Descartes' Meditations with his penis.
